How We Work
A clear process from first ideas to finished garden.
At JPC Garden Design and Landscaping, we make the process straightforward and transparent. From your first visit through to final sign-off, each stage is carefully planned so you know what’s happening, what’s been agreed and what comes next.
Initial Garden Visit
Every project begins with a complimentary visit to your garden, where we discuss what you’d like to achieve, look at the space and explore the practical requirements of the project.
For design-led projects, we’ll move into our Client Brief and garden design process.
Garden Design
Where a design is required, this is a separate paid stage.
Your garden is designed around the approved Client Brief, and you’ll have the opportunity to review the proposed layout before approving the final design.
Building Your Garden
This is where the plans become reality.
We carry out the agreed landscaping work with careful attention to workmanship, accuracy and detail, while keeping you informed as the project progresses.
Deliveries, materials and any agreed changes are managed as part of the build rather than leaving you to coordinate them.
Client Brief and Approval
For design-led projects, we prepare a written Client Brief setting out what we understand the garden needs to achieve.
You review and approve the brief before any design work begins, giving both you and JPC a clear starting point.
Estimate, Project Plan and Booking
Once the scope or garden design is agreed, we can properly cost the landscaping work.
For larger projects, we’ll also prepare a detailed Project Plan bringing together the agreed scope, design, materials, project stages, payment arrangements and anticipated timescales.
Once everything is agreed, we confirm your booking and start date.
Snagging, Sign off and Aftercare
When the work is complete, we review the finished project with you and identify any genuine snagging items that need attention.
Once these have been resolved, the project is formally signed off and, where relevant, we provide care information for your new garden.
We can also continue to support you with seasonal garden care and ongoing maintenance.
